Does anybody know how to culture snails?

I have some snails laying eggs but they never hatch.


I have another small type of snail and it's eggs do hatch and they grow to adulthood.

Anybody know what it takes to get snails to reproduce and grow out?

Some snails go through a plantonic larva stage, where the 'baby' drifts in current after hatching. These aren't likely to survive in a typical reef tank because of the filtration.
