I am looking to put my tank on my stand. I was hoping to find a pair of glass suction handles. If not, I guess it will time to throw the back out :)

Thanks

I know its a long shot, but for reference

Thanks Davey, That is what I was thinking about since he lives like 2 miles from me.

Harbor Freight?

I'd rather not buy a pair, but that might be a good investment for the club?

Agreed!

I think that would be a great investment as I know of about 5-6 people right now that are upgrading to tanks 120+. Hopefully Brian or Mike stumbles on this thread.

I vote the club should purchase a pair of these, if not two pair.

Second? :)

would be a helpful device to have on hand...however, the club should be concerned about the liability. what if it wasn't applied correctly, and the tank dropped on someone's foot...or worse:(

I don't think the club would have any liability. I have moved tanks, panes, and mirrors with them before and it makes things so much easier

heh, those are pretty cheap!

Whatever is purchased... better test it out pretty well. I'd be scared that these 3 dollar suctions would give way under significant weight... We don't want to see anything bad happen with any of our tanks :)

yeah, I found $5 ones at Harbor Freight, then $80 industrial ones online... if made me think twice about the quality of the cheap ones.

If someone wants to buy some and donate them to the club, that would be very nice. I can guarantee that membership dues this year are not going to cover the costs of our speakers...

Any wealthy donors need a tax write-off this year?
