Does anyone have their DT in their bedroom??

I have mine in my bedroom/living room cause I live in a rather large efficiency apartment. I really can't hear mine and it is literally 4ft away from my bed. I run a durso with sump and I actually can't really hear it unless I let the water level get down really low. My Fan to sleep with is actually louder than my tank is and I'm a very sensitive sleeper* as I can't sleep without a fan running*

I'd imagine for most people it would be awkward to show the tank. I actually enjoy being able to look at the tank and fall asleep at night. I've did it a lot actually.

I've got my 90 gallon in the master bedroom. When I first set it up I was a novice and did not really know what I was doing and it was so loud that I contemplated taking it back to the store lol.

But after some messing around with it and understanding how things work and water flow rates, I have it now where you can barely even hear the trickle into the reef ready overflow.

Biggest tips are only use DC pumps and a DC skimmer. Keep the water flow in the return pump at a low level, but right for the size and I also rigged the overflow pipe with a strand of filter media to silence the water even more.

It's so quiet now that i have to make sure it's even ON sometimes lol

I have a IM Nuvo 10g in my room and it is dead silent. The only thing that makes noise is my ATO pump (Tunze Nano) but that only happens like 4 times a day...
