does anyone know about Current?

I am looking at purchasing a Current-USA PC/MH/Moonlight 36" for 225. Does that sound about right? I am running a Coralife T5 right now. I know that MH's are better, but since i am running t5's now would i just be better off with what i have?

I think that Coralife and Current fixtures are comparable. How many bulbs are in your fixture? prefer MH pendants as opposed to the fixtures. Better reflectors, upgradable etc etc. Your T5 is probably just fine for now, T5 can be as effective as halides if you have the right number of bulbs.

i would stay away from current and coralife all of their products are "ok" but for arroung the same price you can get much better lighting id lurk arround the for sale forums for a month or so when you get ready to upgrade and see if you cant snag a great deal on a high end light that some one is upgrading from.

Sedor right now my coralife is a 2 bulb set up but i am only running them on a 29 gal tank. I am upgrading to a 59 gal reef tank. 36" long are the Current's that i was asking about. Comes with 2 Actinics, 2 PC, MH, and white lunar lights

I like the Current set-up that you are looking at. We are using a similar one on our 180 and really there isn't much need to overpay for a fixture that will turn your lights on and off. Price looks about right to me. (150w or 250w Halide?)

it is a 150 mh also that link is a no go for me. It says that i don''t have enough privleges to get in whatever that means. Do you have to have so many posts before you are allowed certain places on the forums? Same question for a "for sale" section do you have to have a certain number of posts to be able to see that section? I don't even see a "for sale" section on here.

Have to be a member for 90 days and have 50 meaningful posts -- you have about 35 more days to go. RC is for information exchange, and selling/buying is a privilege given to members that meet the above criteria.
