Does anyone know if salt is good or bad?

As many of you know, when I put my mag 9 on my return it was pushing water through my dursos too fast and was causing it to flush creating a large amount of water on my floor...My question is, the water is under my stand and I've been using a fan, however, there is salt creep on the edges of the stand...Does the salt actually help absorb some of the water or does it hold the moisture longer?

I would say that it holds moisture longer as salt pull moisture out of the air.

Saltcreep NEVER seems to be dry so take it for what it's worth!
