Does anyone make there own coral food?

Does anyone make there own coral food or know of any good links that so you how? I made some with silver slides and shrimp, grinded it up in a blender with r/o water and then put it in a zip-lock bag laid it flat it the frizzier. what do you think, how do you make yours?
