Does Aquatic Marine have a website?

I found one, but I think it's a different place from the local one.

I'd like to see if I can keep up with what stuff they get without making the drive...which always winds up costing me too much money.

If you ever want to know if they have something, let me know -- I drive by them every day on the way home from work. :)

Keep an eye on the Aussie Duncans for me. I'm dying to get one, but kinda hate to pay $50 for them. I might have to break down ad do it, but I'm working to convince me to fork out for a bigger tank.

I may head down there also. I called and they have a couple of them, but the cheapest is $50. This hobby is getting expensive. I may have to break down and get one.

They had a large duncan there, but looks like they fragged it. They are asking for $15 a head. There are two with 3 heads and one with 4 there.

the one with 4 is now gone. I got it for $50 minus club discount. I guess it's not that bad of a deal, considering what they normally go for. That left two of them there. One is $50 and one is $70. I think they're basing the price of them on the size, and the number of heads, because one with 3 heads is 50, and I think the other one has 4 heads but is larger and $70.

Heh. Cool. What I didn't say earlier is that there was a small piece of that duncan that had been cut on both ends of the stem but had a short branch with a single small head -- and I got it for $15. :) It hasn't opened since it got home. Hopefully it didn't get man-handled too badly - it was cut through some living tissue on the stem.

Mine are all wide open already. I don't know why, but so far, anything I put in the tank opens right up within about an hour or less. :fun2:

Good deal on some of the best looking duncans I've seen in awhile. I considered them as well today but real estate is getting to be at a premium. Feed them and they'll multiply quckly.

yeah, I'm going to have to invest in some 24" tweezers. I heard they had them at Harbor Freight. Anybody got other sources for them?

My advice? Buy one of those rigid pieces of airline tubing and some flexible airline tubing and make a "pipette" of sorts. It's how I feed my scolys, acans, dendros, and other LPS corals. Those harbor freight hemostats are going to be soaked in oil, so if you go that route, make sure they get a thorough cleaning. Good luck.

I'm not sure I understand how your design works. All I'm envisioning are two pieces of tube, one flexible and one not. :hmm3:

If I do get the tweezers, I will be sure to wash them well. Thanks for the reminder.

flexible tube goes over rigid tube. Flexible tube in mouth to suck up food into rigid tube and then lightly blow it into open polyps at night. Just don't suck too hard!
