...i've recently bought some Caulerpa paspaliodes and it looks to be slowly dying. Has anyone had success growing this in their tank? Or is it just one of those algaes that looks cool but can't really be sustained in an aquarium for long?

From what I hear it usually does well. Place it on the substrate in a low flow area with good lighting. A refugium is best.

...mine has their roots buried in a medium flow area, the original leaves are kinda alright still, but i just noticed a new shoot or runner growing, though out the base of one of the exisisting leaves, not the stems or runners. hopefully it'll work out, it's a very attractive caulerpa. thanks for the info.
