Does he have too many fish?

From everything I have read it is a real tank. I stumbled upon a photo of his tank on facebook and he is constantly posting photos and videos of it. He stated he was kicked off a few forums and started his own group for people to discuss the hobby. He also stated he has been in the hobby 2 years.

The truth is whatever he is doing is working maybe for HIM. However, he's obviously one of the exceptions. We can all say and think "oh those two fish will never work because so and so said so" and most of the time, in theory yes, so and so may be right. Can't knock on him for the love he has for fish, but I'm sure most of us won't do that at all. I am impressed they're all alive for now, but definitely not something I would attempt.

He has more money than sense!

I'm sure he just replaces any fish that die or get killed and doesn't mention it because it would make him look bad and prove that it is not the way to run a tank successfully and ethically.

It might be similar to how cichlid tanks are ran, you have to stock the hell out of them to keep aggression down. That being said this guy is insane for doing this to these fish as there barely any room to swim.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw it.

I also spotted what looked like early signs of HLLE on multiple fish. and they peck at things more than any fish I've had. My guess is they are underfed, not fed a variety of foods. He wont have long term success. Lets see how he feels about his way of doing things in another 2 years... I wonder if he realizes marine fish can live 20+ years?
