Does my faucet have threads for a diverted valve?

It looks like in the first picture that the screen is removable. Something along the lines of angled needle nose pliers to fit into the notches should work to get it started.

If so, it will probably be a very fine thread, but an adapter will be available it HD/Lowes. I'd take the screen part with me to match it up.

Upon some research, my brand of sink, Moan, has male threads. The aerator in the photo has the threads and a special tool is required to remove the aerator. No diverter valves for me.

Do you know of any valves that can connect to a bathtub faucet? I can't find anything online.

If you take the aerator to HD/Lowes with you I'll bet they have an adapter with the same threads that will then hook up to the rest.

As for "special tool" HD/Lowes will have that too.
