Does my new GBTA look healthy? Also it hosts saddleback clown!

Not the clearest pictures, but I thought it was interesting to see it hosting the clown. I didnt realize it would work, plus other threads it looked like S. Haddoni was the only one that would host it. Also how does the anemone look?

Yes bta's host clowns
And im guessing the last photo its lights out
It looks a little stressed im assuming because of the move but besides that looks healthy

Yep last photo is lights out. I am aware they host clowns I am just excited yo see it host my kind as that was not the impression I had from research and previous posts. Glad it looks healthy thank you! Still seems to run around a bunch though.

BTAs typically like to hide their foot in a crevice. If you don't provide it with a rock where it's able to do this, it may continue to wander.

I don't really agree it will just attach its foot to the glass

When they wander it means they are not happy with the flow or the lights so they wander until they find a nice spot
The best hardiest bta's are from other reefers as its been acclimated and accustomed to aquarium life it will tolerate allot more

Could be its not moving because the clown is hosting during the day so it feels comfortable and at night the clown is not really interested in the GBTA (this is just speculation)

No I mean I am open to all speculations. Its actually only hosting with the lights off. The clown is too excited for food during the day. At night it tries to follow the anemone but in the day pretends it does not exist lol.

That would be interesting. I wonder if the anemone does not like it perhaps thats why its not coming out of the rockwork. The clown wont swim in there either....

BTA's usually hide for a couple of days after being relocated to a new tank / environment

I would keep an eye on the clowns, saddlebacks are notorious for being very rough with their host.

I got the anemone from my lfs. So its going on 2 weeks being in my tank. I will also be cautious someone mentioned that to me in another thread.

Being cautious of the clown hurting the anemone. I think they had it 2 or 3 weeks prior to me picking it up if I remember correctly. Its been in and out of the rockwork nothing really consistent.

What kind of lights did they have it under
Lfs usually have very low lighting to give corals pop and make colors brighter
(Speculation) Its possible its acclimating itself to your lighting or its not use to day night of your tank
