Does my tang have ich?

I noticed my Kole Tang in this condition last night. Take notice to the outter rim of her tail. It's also along the tip of her dorsal fin, but hard to see in the video. Is this ich?

What's weird is they seem to be the same size as what is on the side of my tank. Just coincidence?? :

yes. You wouldn't find Ich on the glass. It also appears to large to be Ich. A nice, in focus, close up of the tang would help a lot.

Hard to say, but I am inclined to go with lymph as well.

definitely not Ich - Ich will look like tiny grains of salt speckled on the fish. I'll stick with my first thought - Lymphocystis. It is relatively benign and will eventually go away on it's own. In addition, it's not contagious so no worrys about killing off the rest of the fish.

billdogg, you just made my day! I hope you're right! Last night I prepped the QTs in the event I had to pull the fish out today. But it looks like I won't be needing to do that. I did some additional research on Lymphocystis symptoms. The pictures I found are consistent with your 'prognosis'.:dance:

Fairly certain it's lymphocystis, as others noted above. It is self-limiting with good husbandry.
