does octo dnw200 requier certain water level?

i am making a sump from a 50 breeder (36x18x18) i need to know what height to make baffels.

my plan is left side of tank drain from display and skimmer section. next refugium area then three baffles for bubble trap. lastly return pump section.

I want to have drain and skimmer section together to keep constent water level. evaportaion will effect refugium and retrun section.

you control the water level with the riser tube (or gate valve if modded) I know 10in or taller should be fine

i am refering to the water level in the sump. I know people put there skimmers on plat forms to raise them.

The DNW is the recuiculating model so it does not matter how deep or shallow the water is, as long is it is below the water outlet.

Now if you have the NW200, not the DNW, you want about 5 inches min to about 10 inches max.

I understand that it is best suited in the 8-10" water level range. I have the NW150, and it is in ~9" of water.
