Well I recently came across a really good deal on a toadstool mushroom.Well its about 8-12 inches across and it kind of dips down near the center.Well every morning I have to remove stuff that seems to sink from the water column into there. Its kind of hard to get out.Any help on a better way to get it out then flicking water over it to knock it out would help, thanx.

turkey baster or wavemaker. a wavemaker is obviously less work but more cost, setting it up just right so it's not blasting things but rather billowing intermittently.

otoh, almost every day i have to blast sand, fish poo or some other unmentionable crap from the bowl/cap of my sarco roseum. but most sarcos can be cleaned with strong intermittment wave action, e.g. wave2k or tunze.

I usally have to turkey baste my lather about every other day. I have a clown that hosts in it, so sometimes he kickes the stuff off, but any other times, I have to clean it myself.

I usally hit it when I feed my corals with the baster.

Okay, thanks,I dont want to mess eith the flow to much because he really likes wear he is and has the perfect lighting in this spot.So Ill just use the turkey baster idea.Thanks.

Really should look into a wavemaker they will really purk up your tank. You can pick up a cheappy wavemaking powerstrip for like 35-40 bucks, and your corals will love it. Random flow is proven to be better. I use a reef fanatic I bought in the used equip section for like 50 and its sweet.
