I was at one of our local Petcos and I seen some white sugar sized sand for land hermit crabs and upon reading the ingredients foud out that it is comprised of: Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Carbonate(nothing else). After reading on one of Randy's Magnesium tutorials, it sounds like Magnesium Carbonate is the ideal source for Magnesium, due to the fact that it is in Carbonate form. I am wondering if this will help in buffering Magnesium and Alkalinity, along with Calcium?
