Should I be worried about the whitish edges on this chalice? In fact, even the inner parts are looking a bit washed out in places. It's making me really nervous. I've only had it for maybe three weeks.

If it's lightening up then you may want to lower it. New corals need to be acclimated to tank lighting before getting moved up from the bottom of the tank imo
I have a 36 watt Orbit Marine strip supplemented by six 26 watt generic strips... I've just ordered a four bulb, 216 watt t5 fixture with two 10k and two actinics to supplement, but it's not in yet.

I agree it doesn't look happy. Mine had a lot more vibrant green in it, I lost it a couple months ago to an ALK spike though. Have you had any swings in ALK lately?
I just upgraded lights to two 54 watt actinics and two 54 watt 10ks to supplement my current led setup. Marked improvement in the amount of light in the tank. Is that enough for chalice in a 21 deep tank? Lights are about 5 inches off the water, chalice is maybe 7 or 8 inches off the bottom of the tank. I'm hoping this will help with color, growth. I'm planning on staring out with an acclimation period, one hour of t5s a day, add an hour a week over the next month or two.
