does this really work??

OH OH OH I will next year...I hear that word "experiment" and it gives me something to focus on :D

.....I've read it works...I also read about some aliens abducting Anna Nicole's soul...so, I'll take it all in stride.

I seriously might have to do a few tests next year on this; it sounds fun.

It should work. We use to use a picture of a lionfish to make them feel insecure but those were wild caught... not sure if yours are or not.... try one type of picture on each side... cant hurt

Hmm..i have a pair of tank raised false percs i am going to try this with. they use to host a power head but i took it out and placed a RBT near where the powerhead was and thankfully it stayed there. i have printed out the pics so wish me luch!!

I would think it would have something to do with competition. Oh they will take the anemone, we'll get it first. I wish my clowns were that competitive - but NOOOOOOO I put two Green Gobies in and they ended up stealing the Torch for them. Day 1 in the tank and they went right to the torch!

How long have you had the clown and is it wild or captive bred? I have a true percula and it took it about 2 months before it started hosting in my big RBTA. I also a pair of wild saddle clowns that host in a big toadstool coral but never looked twice at the anemone. I also have a pair of captive bred Picasso Percs and they show zero interest in hosting in anything. I have also read about the picture technique but it has always been someone giving advice on something they have read and not actual experience. Logicially I would guess that it would work given the territorial nature of clowns.

lol I was sick of my clown hosting the powerhead so I taped a 7
up can tpo the tank next to the powerhead lol. that worked lol. I dont care what he hosts, but I want him to be visible, and not hiding behind a powerhead.
