I got a blue tang yesterday and today i knowticed it had some bubbly stuff on its dorsal fin? The only thing I saw searching was it could be flukes. If it is I have never done a freshwater dip so could some one help me out with some info doing it or point me towards a good link on doing it? Also is this a good start until I get some treatment... if it is again.

You don't normally "see" flukes. Not sure what "bubbly stuff" means?
Could be lymphocystis....search.

Well his eyes are looking blown up now... here are the best pics I could get... I dont think he is going to make it :(

Forget the fins.....Look at his eyes! They are coming out of his head. FW dip as a precaution, 10 minutes should be enough. If any fish in my care started looking like that, I would immediately assume flukes. 9 times out of 10, a fish in that condition is all fluked up.

The eyes just happened today when I was at work! I dipped him last night for 3-4 should I do it again? I'm afraid its doing to stress him to much :( I'm going to get medicen tomoroww at lunch but he still hasent eaten yet either.. got him Weds from Live Aquaria

3-4 is not enough. Eye flukes for some reason, tend to not fall off until the 9-10 minute mark. I would dip again, and watch for small white things to start forming. They are about the size of a sesame seed. I wouldn't be too worried about the stress. When a fish is all fluked up, they won't eat and get all kinds of secondary infections because of the stress. Once it has been dipped and is free of flukes, you'd be suprised at how fast they recover. The problem will be getting rid of the flukes that are in the system. If indeed it is flukes, FW dip and prazipro is the only way to go.

It's in qt right now. I had some left over live sand from another tank so I just used that to seed it so after this I guess I'll be pitching it. I'll try the 10min tonight and do the prazi tomorrow. The good LFS is closed by me today. Thanks for the help!
