Does this test out ok?

well i just tested some things in my tank.

Calcium- 390ppm
Alk- 12.5dkh ( is that too high??) it says natural sea water is 8dkh.
salinity- 1.026
 
Alk is a little high...you can let it come down on it's own tho.

also it depends what your keeping in your tank?
 
Iam keeping Mostly SPS corals with some LPS ... tank has been running for about 5 months now.. i just started useing the A and B ionic .. how long should it take for the alk to come down?

It depends on overall CO<sub>2</sub> production in the tank and the environment in your tank room. I wouldn't worry about that reading at the moment anyway. Go over to the Chemistry Forum and review Randy's article on calcium and alkalinity relationship in the sticky at the top of his forum.
