Tomatos,cinamons,and maroons will bite you even in a fish only tank. The others will also sometimes, but much less.

my clarkii is fearless..... it doesn't hurt much just more startling than anything mine is about 3" and is in a FO tank..... he stalks my hand and then just rams me out of no where.

My false perc will bite me whenever my hand is in the tank. Still hasnt hosted with my nem so hopefully it doesnt get worse.

My ocellaris have never attacked me but my maroon rams me even if I have gloves on.

The female would attack when I put my hand/arm too close to her anemone. It doesn't really hurt but you know something definitely has happened.

I have a breeding pair of Black Ocellaris in a Blue Haddoni and a pair of True Percs in a GBTA and both females bite me. My Momma O bites me pretty hard but the much smaller female Perc bites much harder. She's a mean little thing. Last week she darted at me to bite me and missed and jumped right out of the tank and landed on the floor. It took me a couple seconds to figure out what happened. I picked her up and put her back and she's fine. She jumped pretty far too.

My female ocellaris has bit me and held on numberous times. She's landed on the floor a few times because of it. She has drawn blood a few times. I couldn't imagine what a maroon would do if they wanted.

my female maroon scared the crap out of me when I cleaned the tank. Had to have my wife with a stick to scoot it away anytime it came close. It feels like a pinch but it just scares you when your not ready. Ive created a lot of unintentional frags that way.

Now that my Black Ocellaris are paired, whenever I stick my hand (or any object) into the tank the male will attack it and pull.

I have 2 Amphiprion ocellaris = nimos , they bluff. I have a A. melanopus = has not been in a move. This one is nasty, and has taken bites out of my finger more then once.
