Just trying to guage how likely a foxface is to nip at my corals. I want one, but not if hes going to eat my LPS.

So, if you have one, please vote

I picked up a 4" one spot on Wednesday and he hasn't touched anything, but that is a very short time period to judge. I only see him pecking at the rocks and the back wall. He did peck at some sansibia polyps that were brown but immediately swam away and did no damage.

Oh and I know they can dart around the tank when scared, but mine has no problem being calm while I hand feed the lps corals.

My mag. Foxface hasn't touched anything, softies or lps in the time I've had him but he is extremely skittish and aggressive towards other fish.

My orange-spot developed a taste for acans, but that seems to have passed at least for now. It ws bad enough that I'm hesitant too add any new acans to the tank.

Orange spots (called Rabbitfish around here because their face looks like a rabbit) are not Foxfaces. They're reef wreckers IME.

Longer snouted Lo/Siganus ("Foxface") species very rarely cause grief in a reef aquarium (IME) and make excellent reef aquarium fish.
