Not sure who "dog" is, but I wanted to tell you the sps frags traveled well back to Kentucky. When I saw the title "dog", I immediately thought of your friendly critter...not. Anyways, several days in and all are well. Thanks again Nook!

That's great! Glad they're doing good. Bogie doesn't have many more days with us, to be honest I didn't think he would live through the summer. He still means business though

Nook, my space ghost is doing good but never really colored back up. I can't even remember what the other frag I got was right now because it came in with a bunch of other stuff. It's been hit and miss with several frags I got in the last few months. Probably because my alk got a little low.

I just took Tater to the specialist yesterday and they told me he needs a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy in both knees. 3 grand per knee so 6 thousand total. It's not something he needs ( or I can afford) immediately so I'm going to get him some glucosomine supplement and see how that helps.

We did TPLO on our other dog Koko several years ago. Her knees went out a year apart. She's 12 now and still pretty spry.
She wants to be a lap dog.

Thats good to hear, it makes me more confident that surgery might be the right choice.

Bogie would've been a goner 4 years ago when his cruciate ligament tore causing his femur bone to slip over his tibial bone, causing severe pain and consequentially inability to bear weight, best $3500 we ever spent. He recovered extremely well.

This is where I went. Dr. Rorshe or something.

We had one leg done there and one at AVS off Natural Bridge. Only reason we didn't do second one at AVS is because the surgeon was out on Maternity leave. AVS was a little cheaper and kept her longer for observation.
