I swear Mike, I thought about your photo of that Kent (snakeoil BTW

) bottle after your masterflex got through with it.
I wonder, if I hadn't noticed, if mine would have scrunched my Rubbermaid Brute can.
So, it's worse than all this. Midmorning yesterday Mary calls me at work. The power went out for about 20sec (no clue why) and her computer shut off (no idea why ... battery backup failure?)
Anyway, while she's worried about her computer and work guess what I'm worried about!
She goes to look at the tank and reports a "snowstorm" ... huh? Says "this definitely is not sand". Precipitation? Can't be! Night before I was at 410 and 8.1 so can't be.
I get home 7hrs later, and tank looks fine, water level is higher. Higher? Huh? Still no idea why? Maybe when the pump kicked back on it blew stuff out of the pipes. Mary says what she saw was not that.
Look around, see no kalk dripping out of the tubes. Tubes tight in the masterflex. Hmmm.. Open the tub and see it dry. It must have been pumping kalk powder direct for a while. I didn' thave the heart to check pH and don't want to know. We'll see how the corals look tonight but all was well last night.
Man.
