I Would like to know if any members have bought from Donavon's Reef? I did a search and came up with very few people who have . Just courious , He has some nice looking pieces I'm thinking about getting . But I would like to read a few more peoples thoughts on his corals,

I have not purchased from him. I can only comment on my eBay exsperiance. Most times pictures are enhanced. Also frags tend to be extra small if they r not wysiwyg. Hope you exsperiances r better then mine.

Yea, I did see that. I was waiting to see the last feedback , as it was a piece I was bidding on, I'd like to see how they feel about it since they paid $182 for a frag.

Mine have not been super , I've only spent way more $$ then I wish to post On items that are nice,,but look better enhanced. hehe

I bought several pieces from him a couple years ago. Acan frags and I can't remember whst else. They were healthy and exactly as described. 100% satisfied.
I believe he said in his listing the exsct size like 2 heads of acsn lords or whatever. You just.have to be familiar with what.you are buying anywhere on the net.
Do not expect exsctly.whst.you see in pics as far as color becsuse your system is different.

I believe his frags are too small for the money and i beleive many of his pics are enhanced to up the sale price.....ebay sellers really **** me off sometimes, just looking at the corals and they prices expected for 2 BABY poyps or something radioactive because it is under 100% actinic light....its outrageous sometimes.

As for Dreef.......i hope he is reading this, and i hope he is making good money...that is the business.

the only upside to people who frag too small and ask too much is it keeps people in check from just buying something because it looks cool and not actually being able to take care of it...(and yes, i too have killed my fair share of life from the reef)

If i had to reccomend someone, Joseph E Lee, reef lounge, and austin aqua farms are great sellers with great care in packaging and shipping as well as good value if you can keep your price limits reasonable....which i believe many people on ebay can not.

I got some zoas from him a while back no issue. Ad far as ebay sellers go cornbred, reefpets, and golden basket have always had quality stuff and I was happy purchasing from all the above.

I have had good luck up untill recently with Golden basket.. His pictures are starting to Go over the top on Photoshop. But Rudy is a great guy to deal with .
