I will have 1 frag of a Kenya Tree Coral that will be sewed to a rock at tonights meeting. If you are interested in being a sponsor please provide the following:

It grows well under VHO or PC. I will try and post a picture of this type.
OK heres the contract:

Each will be small, but will grow under VHO or PC. MH lights(MH may be too intense).

Each is free to a member of the club providing that.....

They provide the correct environ for it to grow.

They are at the next meeting to receive a colony

They describe how it grows for them under their conditions, and waht those conditions are.

They promise that once they are twice the size they are now, they will donate a colony the approximate size of the original donor colony.

If you wish to be a sponsor....reply to this list. First come first served. The next people on the list will receive frags from the sponsors when the colony has doubled.

Something went wrong. When I got home the frag was upside down, being on top of the frag. I went ahead and acclimated it to my tank water, then placed it in the same general area of my mushrooms, which are doing well. It kept getting smaller until this morning it was not existant. Everything else in my tank is doing fine.

Great news for those that were worried that Kenya Trees were no longer available for DONORing. I have a Kenya Tree that looks almost exactly like that, but the stalk is a little more purpleish. Let's just pick up with the exact statements from the first post.

I have a softball+ sized ball of Kenya tree that I am more then willing to frag out. I will bring somewhere along the line of 2-3 frags north to the next meeting I am able to attend.

Or we can do the same thing concerning how I got it in the first place. You pay shipping (paypal) and we can get this to you via USPS mail. This EXTREMELY hardy coral will do just fine when shipped this way.

This thread was going to be started anew, Paul. I have some and so does mskohl that we can use to get a new thread going on. I had talked to Chris and he said that he doesn't have it. The new thread can be captbunzo as the Original Donor, and me and mskohl can be on the have list. We can get a few frags going by this Saturday.

Btw, folks, Kenya has grown amazingly well and fast for me. And I think it is kind of pretty, at least in shape, if not color. Lots of little open polyps.
