After almost a year, the donor pages are back online:

http://www.mycomas.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=3

An ENOURMOUS Thanks to Madkat for his hours of effort bringing the pages over from the old forum to the current web page. When you see him at the next meeting (or even by pm) tell him thanks for his hard work.

I have been asked by quite a few what you have out. Great question. The pages haven't been updated much since 2007.

I will give a bit of time for everyone to check out what is there, then I'll start updating with the sign in/out sheets we've kept for 2010 & 11.

Either way, the pages are a great source of information for coral care when you pick up a new coral.

Please let me know if you have comments or questions......

??????? on the donor pages

??????? on the donor pages

so i have been checking out the donor pages on the COMAS site to check out what's still on there and what i might want to request.

my questions

is it ready to go?

do i need to post a reply on the ones i want?

also there are some of them which i am still on that waiting list for, but since that year or so since it was up and going i have either bought, traded for or just changed my mind on. so do i need to reply a request to be taken off the list for those corals?

is there any way to tell which ones are still available (all havn't died or never returned and disappeared from the program permaently?

thanks in advance for your help.:hmm2:

yes, except for updating for 2010-11

do i need to post a reply on the ones i want?

You can do that, but also pm me so I can tell you if the particular coral is in the tank or not.

yep, you can request to be removed.

I'm trying to figure out a creative way to spotlight the pages of the ones that are currently available. In addition, I have had several requests to continue the monthly thread prior to meetings with pics of available corals. If you have requested something from the mycomas site that would keep you out of the who was first contest when I put up pics on the thread ..... if that makes sense.

thanks in advance for your help.

you are not only welcome, but thanks for actually looking at the forum and responding

:hmm2:

Absolutely,

However, You may want to wait. The monday or tuesday before each meeting (on saturday) I start a thread and add to it each day till the meeting. I post pics each day of corals I actually have in the tank and people pm me if they are interested.

You are still welcome to sign up for a coral on the forum and pm me and I'll let you know if It is actually in the tank.

Thanks for the interest.

Lynn

If I am planning on joining at the febuary meeting can I request something if I see something that I want?

Just don't want to bug anyone but at the same time I know I cant learn if I don't ask questions. Glad that I have found a forum with such great people to help me.
