Just a little update. The purple tips browned out as the zooxanthellae algae caught up with the new growth, but I'm starting to see new growth again. Also, I had mounted my frag sideways, and I can already see about 4 new spots where branches should be growing up from. Thanks for letting me try this out as an SPS, Paul. It's good to know that I will eventually be able to return frags, and not kill it.

I completely forgot about this. Mine is actually being held by ReeferKeith at the moment until I get my 75g tank up and running. I've inquired a few times about the condition of the Montiporas that he is holding. He informs me that they are growing and looking good. Hopefully by the time I get this tank up and running, I'll get it back really big and have quite a few frags.
