Nick (matrexz) has my frag that I got from you. When me and him went to an OMAS meeting, I got a frag of yellow polyps. So, since he was there, I passed it to him. I currently on have about 5 polyps from my frag. They don't seem to open as big. But they have fallen a few times, so they could be just stressed.

These grow very fast if fed frequently. In my frag tank I have a shell that I glued 5 to 3 months ago. It now has over 60 on it.

Ill see if I can get a couple more frags for the next meeting.

What are the lighting requirements on these?

They are similar to all other Zoanthids. PCs and up usually do the trick. I've seen some people successfully keep these under good Normal Output, but I've even seen them die under Metal Halides and T5s.

they are semi photosynthetic and facultative autotrophs....which means they like to eat when food available. Any food is rapidly swallowed.

Rtaher than think of them as zooanthids, think of them as yello aptasia, without the procreational abilities.
