Well I decided to change all the filters in my ro/di water filter and I was very careful that I placed every cartridge correctly and try not to overtighten the canisters. Everything was going well until I tried to replace the stage 4 membrane. Came out rather easily and installed the new membrane without a hitch so I thought. I turned on the water and pow water shooting out everywhere from the membrane canister (water shoots very far under pressure). Luckily I had it in my garage so it wasn't too bad but boy was it cold, the water and the garage. After trying to tighten it several times, looking for blocked tubes and looking in the bucket where i took out the old membrane for any pieces that I forgot I noticed at the very bottom a small o-ring. I reinstalled the membrane and included the o-ring, turned on the water n presto no shooting water. Lessoned learned after wet and frozen feet, wet walls and boxes is don't do it in the middle of winter and o-rings r ur friends.
