Wow, that's some serious dedication. Our tank is 26" deep so we got a glorified turkey baster on steroids. This thing is awesome for feeding mysis to my LPS corals. Sometimes the sun corals get 4-10 mysis each. I'll be sure to get some pictures when someone is awake when i go to feed.

I didn't even know rics could eat flake like this. It moved each of its little tentacles toward its mouth like a crowd surfer.

my question to you guys is how do you keep your fish/inverts away when feeding your corals meaty food? I always had such trouble when feeding krill to my anemone

that can really be a pain in the neck. luckily for me that Acanthastrea eats so fast the shrimp never have a chance. if they come near though i squirt them with water from the turkey baster that i use to feed the coral with.
back when i had an anemone i would just give each shrimp a piece of food to keep them busy while the anemone ate.

I tried that but for some reason they still wanted the one the anemone had... theyd go stash the piece i gave them and go back for the anemones lol

Not eating, but begging.

This thing will leave its tentacles out even if its been fed 5 times before in an hour.

I'm not sure what kind of LPS this is but it sure likes its mysis.

you can use your fingers to drive them away from stealing your coral's food. :)

Well, you've motivated me to go melt some cyclop eeze and mysis to feed my corals tonight. ;)

Mysis does the trick too! That's not to say that on my next trip home from MSU I'm not bringing home a few bars of cyclopeeze. I've never actually used it, but i want to give it a shot and the fish stores around us dont stock it regularly. Up at college though they've got it at one of the LFSs.

All my corals are snacking now. ;) My flashlight has no batteries, so no pictures at this time.
