dont worry they dont vote

Maybe not in Wooster (I grew up in Millersburg)... but up here in Cleveland all the democrats vote. BUT... it's very fine with me if they don't :)

Voted today. 45 minute wait. Heard on the news that college kids were having problems voting statewide as they weren't accepting college IDs as proof of address and many of them have no way to prove their mailbox address on campus. Smells like a Republican plot to me!

I wish the republicans would have plotted a little better... haha!

I graduated from with my bachelor's degree in May and I'm still living in my college apartment. I have no form of ID that has my current address on it. I was able to vote without any problem.

I did however hear many college students having problems with voting. Most of the issues were due to them not registering in their new place of living!!!!! It's hard to cast a vote in Cleveland when you are registered in New Jersey.... some kids just aren't the brightest cookie cutters in the cabinet. Believe it or not, these were kids from Case Western and Cleveland Institute of Music... schools that have a 27+ ACT score (honors level) on average.

My girlfriend, whom I forced to register in Ohio, was more than fine with her NJ license and no form of proper "Ohio ID". Of course, she's on the republican side of things, so she has clearance. :)

LOL...legally, you should have only been able to vote with a provisional ballot.

I suppose you're right... Unfortunately nobody pressed any of those issues. My Millersburg, OH address on my license is certainly not the one I used to vote. That's what you get when you have nice old ladies enforcing the rules.

Last election I was done at a Cleveland voting center helping to make sure everyone who should have been able to vote was allowed. I thought it was embarassing how ill trained the staff was and how many people they denied when they shouldn't have. I can only imagine how many people they allowed to vote who shouldn't have been able to.

I'm just glad that I was able to vote. I am registered to this address and I pay my bills here :) It's not my fault that I haven't changed my state ID... lol

In any case.... I hope that one day all who are legally allowed to vote will have no problem doing so.

My Republican great-grandfather was imprisoned in a Democrat-run concentration camp called Andersonville. So maybe I am slightly biased. We could have just witnessed Democratic election rigging on a grand scale not seen since the sixties if even then. Since it's all electronic, we can never know. Once the move to come up with new voting machines for this election was certain, suddenly the liberal media was panning all Republicans and predicting losses. Check back. It was exact timing. However you can't blame Democrats for a willingness to win power at any cost. Democrats were constitutionally given an edge that was taken away by the anti-slavery amendment. They feel entitled even in modern times to recover that edge however they can. Still, I don't want to be unfair and castigate all Democratic politicians. It's only that the 90% make the other 10% look bad.
