Don't think it Ich but not sure.

Hi all. I was so disapointed today in seeing what i thought was Ich after so many day and hours or QT. I wanted to take a closer look since I notice it was just one and it was only on the blue tang.

After setting up traps in all know places where my blue tang hide or sleept in advance while he was distracted eating. I caught in in about 3 minutes. I don't think this is Ich. Maybe a injury of some kind. What do you guys think.

That's for sure not ich. In fact that guy looks really healthy. It looks like just a harmless tumor to me... But not sure :/ I would just keep an eye on it

Nope. Not Ich. IMHO, probably a small wound picked up somewhere along the line. Just keep an eye on it but otherwise the fish looks fine.

Thanks, did not think so. He is in there with other tangs. There not aggresive with each other at least now but who knows. One of them might have taken a swipe at him. He also sleeps in a very tight Place and He races to it like a maniac. Might have cut him self on a rock.

He is in a hospital tank right now just in case something develops.
