Okay, my dog bumped my arm as I was typing the title in, and messed me up! Anyway

I've got a Cole Palmer Masterflex L/S dosing pump that I purchased with the intent of using to dose magnesium. I have another pump for calc/alk, and by the time I got around to using this realized that my magnesium doesn't suspend well, so manually dosing is how I need to roll.

This is a variable rate pump, which may or may not be a benefit for some. It will come with 3 pump heads, two of them are 2014s, and one is a 2018. Also comes with posts for mounting one or two heads and 14 feet of new tubing. If you want to mount two heads, you'll need to get 4 wing nuts. Also comes with a head tool. This would good for dosing 2 part, or a continuous water change system.

Asking $90 for any local club member. Will be posting in Nashville and the national for sale forums, so speak up soon if you want to work something out.

Also have 300 gallons worth of IO Salt (1.5 boxes) for sale - $50.

Thanks,
Matt

it will, if you run with the two matched heads. That's exactly how I'm dosing my 2 part, just run the lines to two different parts of your sump and use a controller/timer to control the on/off times. I actually used the 2014 heads on my other pump when I first got it to do just this.

It's really quite simple, you just hook one end of the tank up to a drip spot in your sump, run it through the head, and then the other end into you 2 part container. Using a timer or controller you setup how many minutes you need to run it every day, and voila, hands off dosing. It does take a little bit of testing and measuring, but once you've got it figured out, upping the timers for more dosing as your tank needs it is easy.

I am REALLY glad I have mine setup now, don't know why I waited so long.
