Dosed too little Prazi on 2nd round

I have a Flame Wrasse trio in a 20g QT (estimated 17.5 gallons water). I had already done TTM, so was starting my PraziPro regime. I dosed the recommended amount (1 tsp) on a Tuesday. The next Tuesday my wife, as I was out of town, dosed the 2nd round, but thought the tank was a 10g rather than 20g, so dosed 1/2 tsp instead.

Think the 1/2 dose for the 2nd round is sufficient? Or should I start the PraziPro treatment over from scratch?

Were treating prophylactically or were there symptoms? You could either dose the other 1/2 tsp today or do a water change tomorrow and dose the full amount. Prazi only stays in solution for 72 hrs. Be careful not to overdose...wrasses do not handle overdoses of Prazi very well IME.

If I do a water change tomorrow and dose the full amount again, is it possible that any hatchlings (subsequent to the first dosage) have grown up and laid eggs of their own yet? Or will a full dose on Friday (10 days after the first full dose, 3 days after the 1/2 dose), still be sufficient? I am not as familiar with the life cycle of whatever Prazi kills.

They seem to be ok with the PraziPro; haven't changed in behavior and are eating fine. But I will keep an eye out on them.

It goes over the life cycle timeline. But from time you last dosed until your next dose is not enough time for them to grow up and lay eggs.

excellent thanks. so 17-19 days + egg period of 3+ days. so i should be good to just do a final 3rd dose on Friday and be on track.

Theoretically yes. Since you are just treating prophylactically you should be ok.
