Doser... MECHANICALLY how does it work?

Will work for fish
Hello, how does a doser like the bubble magus mechanically work? I've seen posts on the inside of the pump w/ the tube and I understand that the motor turns it, but how does this process suck up fluid and administer it? I dunno why it's not clicking for me but hoping somebody can help me understand how the motor turning is able to suck the fluids upward to administer it out to the tank :)

The tube gets pushed thus moving liquid air through that small section as it turns it pushed across. Does that make sense?

Hey scuzy thanks for the quick response! how does the initial suction aspect work to get the fluid up the 2-3 feet for example from the bottle to the doser ? I'm figuring gravity just takes care of it from the doser to the sump right?

The section between each roller is air tight when the roller moves it along it creates auction on the tube.
It's like pinching s section of tube of air across to long tube.

I got it!! Thanks for the help visualizing it, it's literally inching the fluid up the tube then w/ the rotations of the rotor yeah?

This pic shows the process pretty well. It is a nifty little pump that has uses in many industries.
