Dosing Interceptor.

Hope this is an ok forum for this, since red bugs eat acros only.

I've got a 24 gallon Aquapod that's hosting red bugs. I bought the 51-100lb pill of Interceptor, 1 gram total weight, 23 mg of Milbemycin Oxime. I crushed it to a fine powder but want to know how others have accuratly administered the prescribed 25mg/10 gallons.

My plan is to add the pill to 1 liter of RO/DI water and administer it 25ml/10gal. Has anyone done it this way? I'll be using it about 70ml at a time so I'll have extra mix for quite a while which will be nice since I plan on dipping any new additions to the tank. But I'm curious if the remaining mix would be less potend over time. Any thoughts?

you really dont want to use the whole pile and expect to save the mixture for future use. it has been said it loses its effectiveness once mixed.. use only what you need and save the rest in dry form. and dont be afraid to overdose. many have overdosed as much as 100% without problems. myself included. just remember you will lose shrimp/crabs/pods if they arent removed.
