I am having trouble raising the MAG levels in the tank using Kent -M.I have about 175 gallons and I figured that I need to dose about 12 tablespoons,Anyone know if this is close?

For example, guessing that there's about 100 gallons of actual water volume, I get 18 fl oz or 108 tsp to raise the magnesium by 100 ppm. I'm not sure whether you meant a 175 g tank or 175 g of actual water, after deducting for live rock and sand.

You will want to only raise the Mg 100 ppm per day, so it may take several days to reach your goal.
