Dosing PraziPro during tank transfer for ich?

My yellow tang a clown goby a barnacle blenny and two clownfish have been exposed to black ich and white ich (really making this hobby unfun).

Ive been treating with cupramine for 3 weeks. Took copper out and added prazipro on Two days ago. This morning i noticed a white spot on the tangs fin. Lovely.

I guess ill try the tanktransfer method but can i also dose prazi pro during tank transfers assuming i follow the correct dosage?

yes, make sure you have good aeration and skip prazi on a transfer in between so like... dose prazi the 2nd and 4th transfer but not 1st and 3rd.

Why? I plan on dosing prazipro for 14 days which is whats recommended by reefers. As long as i maintain safe concentration levels i dont see why i cant. Does prazi stress fish?

prazi pro treatment is 5 days.

prazi makes fish appetite go away in some cases.

I would do the TT, and once that is done, do 2 rounds of PP treatmnet. dose, wait 5 days change 25% of water, and dose again. [if fish stops eating while running PP, then give it 3 day break in between to get it fat again.]

I wouldnt mix TT and PP together, no specific reason ... but why stress the fish even more.

For Prazi, you dose once and then again 5-7 days after. The effects of Prazi in the water only lasts 3 days. It kills adults, but not eggs. The first dose kills the adults, and the second dose kills the eggs that have hatched.

keeping it at full concentrate for 14 days is really just excessive, regardless if fish tend to take it OK. certain fish are said to have reactions to it though, such as some wrasses.

+1, although I usually do prazi first, followed by TTM and a 1-2 week observation period.

Getting ready to do a TT while dosing PP at the 2nd and 4th Stage.

Question regarding Prazipro.... If I decide to dose PP in my permanent QT as opposed to doing it during the TT method, is there any affect on the live rock, my bio filter, as well as a hermit crab and fire shrimp.

I basically keep my QT running 24/7. It's a 30g bare bottom, with a few pieces of LR, a HOB filter, and a nano skimmer. To keep the bacteria alive, I keep the crab and shrimp in there permanently.

Once I introduce a new fish into the QT, I will use an egg crate as a divider to section the inverts, from the newly introduced fish.

Any known issues??

Prazipro won't affect your biological filter but if you have UV or a skimmer (don't know anyone who does on a QT) you have to turn it off.

I usually treat with prazipro in the 4th tank and then again in the permanent observation QT 5-7 day later. I hate running air stones because of the darn salt creep but am afraid not to when treating with it in a QT without power heads.

Ok...thanks. I figured that I would treat with PP during the TT method as opposed to in the QT, so that way I did not have to expose my shrimp and hermits unnecessarily.

Plus....the water gets tossed during the TT, and figured that it's easier to run and treat a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone (even though the create salt creep) as opposed to an est. 30g. For ammonia, besides using prime, I have kept my 30g QT loaded with sponge filters. When I start my TT stages, I would just use a small sponge for its bacteria, to combat any ammonia.
