Dosing Pump Group Buy anyone?

I got an email recently from an old contact informing me about a group buy for Marine Magic Dosing pumps. I was wondering if we could get numbers up to benefit from group buy pricing. I followed up with the manufacturer for Marine Magic and they quoted me some prices

Marine Magic Triple Doser - $125.70 Inc. delivery

Delivery is $80 for every 12 and we would need to order a minimum of 24 to qualify for that price so they work out to be $119 for the pump.

Let me know if anyone is interested in participating. I have owned a Marine Magic doser and They are pretty good, parts are available if they do go wrong and of course their cheap price makes them very desirable.

I had actually just sold mine and now I am kicking myself for being too lazy to set it up, now I'm setting up a 210 gallon and I would really like to run one instead of the manual dosing I'm currently dosing on my biocube.

If this goes through, in accordance with RC rules, I will not be shipping the pumps to individual houses, they will ship to me and I will distribute. I often travel to Tampa and south as far as Venice frequently so all that can be arranged at the time. Also, lead time is about 6 weeks as they ship I believe from Hong Kong.
 
Hmmm at that price I may consider jumping into one of these units.

I just sold 2 of 3 GHl's dosers because there was no way that a GHL could hold up in my garage due to the humidity.

I swear by GHL, I just didn't want to ruin them from long term exposure to humidity. I had a LCD screen go bad on my current GHL from humidity and it was $80 to replace.

At a price point of a hundo and change I would be more willing to check one out and play with it in my garage on frag tank and if it doesn't work out then I'm good with the hundred wasted on my error and experimenting.

I'm interested....
 
I consider to buy one for 100 bucks. I have bubble master for two part and magnate I paid 299. Would like one for carbon dosing and phols extra dosing and for 100 bucks it's not bad.

Yea, it's optimistic for sure but I think we can get enough. I'll get the guys down in SWFMAS notified too like they do with the Wp pumps and maybe together we can get the numbers up.
 
lol, yeah I dose everything... red sea coral colors A, B, C, D, Strontium mix, vodka, vinnager and vitamin C, already have a doser for Ca, alk and Mg.

that screen failure due to humidity is also due to GHL having a run of bad LCD screens from the provider in 2012. I had my screen go and talked to them. With my serial number/date of production they replaced it with a good screen for free. Hopefully this one holds up...

I am in no way knocking GHL as I love their products... I did warranty a screen Chad but I had one on my work bench in garage and the screen pix-elated. It was my fault in this instance, any other challenges I had was addressed and corrected by GHL NA.

Again I would be more apt to experiment with a doser at $127 bucks versus $399.

Haha, I'll knock em' for you. They're not worth 400 IMO. I got mine used and thankfully came across a previous thread where GHL had admitted fault and used it to get a new screen for free. I'm going to bring it inside now thought lol. I'll put the whole system under my new frag/anemone tank :)

Not to hijack Ali D thread on our banter. The ease of use of GHL is the most user friendly and a guy like me needs that. Tell me that when you get your Magic Marine and Ill eat crow. I owned 3 and loved every one of them, I rebuilt the one I am using now with all new parts. Can't be beat and customer service was great.

I will buy one of these to play with and see what I come up with and give my opinion then.
