dosing pump question

ok i daisy chained my dosing pump to my digital powerbar. programmed everything but i do not seem to have on/off control via the profilux software..

let me explain properly..
i disconnected the digital powerbar from the headunit and connected the doser. programmed the doser (10-14) powerbar is (1-6)

the powerbar on plug 6 has the high amp two plug bar plugged in. that would make that plug #7 right?

everything is working and turning on and off as it is supposed to.

the problem i am having is that the dosing unit is not controlled at present. it is daisy chained to the powerbar via the wester plug but power is from the wall. when i supply power to the doser, it just goes and does not stop until unplugged (i.e. unplugged from the wall)

on another note, it appears that i do not have control over anything via the software. i cannot turn anything on or off. i can change settings and they take effect fine, but the override is not working.

any ideas? thank you for you help.

Hi

You have it numbered wrong

if the digital power bar is 1-6 then the doser should be 7.... onwards

The high amp reacts the the socket it is plugged into so is not part of the numbering sequence

When doing software changes always remember to press save then load.

Also please update so you are running V4.04 to V4.04

to activate manual override it is just enough to set the check mark there, no need for clicking "save"

when "manual override" is activated ProfiLux shows "manual override" in its display - can you see this

if this mode has been enabled then click onto the boxes left to the function description in the table - the state should change (indicated by a red circle)

and: did you assign the function "dosing pump x" to the sockets 10 ... 13?

Yes Matthias i did set the plug 10 to dosing pump the rest are always off. to resolve the issue, i switched the actual plug on the board in the dosing unit to pump 2, it was on pump one but i noticed that pump 1/3/4 where all lit red implying they are running even though i only have one dosing pump. pump #2 (which is an empty spot since the pump failed) was not red indicating no power was supplied. i switched the plug inside the unit, set the parameters in the software from pump 1 to pump 2 and presto. its working.

the software is still not allowing me manually power control over the sockets. when i am in the socket functions menu, i should be able to select a socket and cycle through it power states using mouseclicks. it shows the different states as well as accept programming but it does not actually turn anything on or off. regardless of what state is selected.

I have a similar problem, when I plug the doser directly into the Profilux, pumps 1 and three turn on and stay on. If I check the manual setting I cannot control the pumps, they just stay on. I have programmed the doser and I have tried plugging it into the digital power bar, still I cannot control the doser. Any Ideas?

Nevermind, I figured it out, the instructions are not very clear on the numbering of the Doser pumps, I did not understand that the numbers that you assign correspond to the socket numbers rather than the numbers assigned to the pumps. Anotherwords socket 7, the first pump in the doser is actually pump 1. My mistake.
