Dosing Pump Questions...

Please forgive my ignorance but I was trying to locate some information on the dosing pump and I have a couple of questions. All questions are for the ProfiLux dosing unit.

If I purchase a 2 pump dosing unit can it be upgraded to either the 3 or 4 pump unit by just purchasing the dosing pump upgrades?

Is 4 dosing pumps the maximum number that can be housed in one unit?

What is the minimum and maximum dosage that the pump can handle in 24 hours?

What is the anticipated life of a single dosing pump? Any maintenance needed?

Hi

Here to help, answer below your questions

If I purchase a 2 pump dosing unit can it be upgraded to either the 3 or 4 pump unit by just purchasing the dosing pump upgrades?

Answer - Yes you can just fit more pumps to the unit by simply removing the blank plate and connecting the two pin push connector.

Is 4 dosing pumps the maximum number that can be housed in one unit?

Answer - Yes, but there is a port on the back where an additional unit can be driven from making at present a total of 8 pumps

What is the minimum and maximum dosage that the pump can handle in 24 hours?

Answer - the min is 1ml in 24 hours, the unit doses 1ml a second as a max or 60ml a minute.

What is the anticipated life of a single dosing pump? Any maintenance needed?

This depends on what you use it for but the pump itself has a one year warranty the main unit has a two year warranty. We expect a pump to last much longer than a year of course, but due to the very nature of what is being dosed we can not state better figures, having said that out of the many hundreds sold we have had very few pump failures under a year or over for that matter.

There is a published maintenance program that we laid out on here, if you do a forum search you should find it.

If you need further help please let us know :)
