Dosing pump setup help

Just got a dosing pump and am wondering on some ways to set it up I want to use 1/4 in rigid tubing inside my container and 1/4 in flex tubing from doser to aquarium what type of fittings do you guys use from the ridged to flex tubing because the rigid tubing will not fit the connecter on the dosing pump

One more question where is the best place to get the rigid tubing at

hardware store and nylon barb fittings..

I just used rigid and silicone airline tubing. Worked out great. No fittings needed.

yes. provided one slips over the other and is secure..
But with tubing of the same size you need something to "butt" the ends together..

fitting airline tubing over same size rigid is easier if you heat it up the end in hot water first.

Silicone airline tubing is pliable enough that it slips on to rigid airline without any issue, and then grips it very well. No muss, no fuss.

except when you get it from amazon in the middle of winter and try to use it as soon as you bring it in the house without giving it time to warm up.
But I suspect that is a very rare circumstance and one would have to be as impatient as me.
