dosing pumps and liquid food

So I was trolling another thread somewhere on rc, and the user had talked about using dosing pumps to feed phytofeast and rotifeast for 3 seconds every 3 hours controlled by a controller. My question is how would one keep the food cold if using dosing pumps for this application?

Use one of those small refrigerator.

It's like a kegerator but w/ Plankton.

Make sure you use a perasalic pump and not an Aqualifter.

Well if you are growing your own Phyto it's not created in the fridge. You only need a fridge to keep it once it's made.

So if you kept stealing fresh phyto from your creation bottle as you are creating it, then it doesn't need to be refrigerated..

This dosing won't work with already grown phyto IE: DT's

Ooooooh. Light bulb over head. You could do this in your regular refrigerator if you were willing to run some RO/DI or similar tubing to your fridge. Place a very small pump in your sump that pushes tank water via RO/DI tubing to your refrigerator. You would just need a small vessel inside your refrigerator that held water and had an open top. Then place your dosing pump + phyto bottle inside your fridge and have it drip in as desired. I could make one about the size of a 6 pack of soda if you want a diagram.

well i liked the idea, since im trying to get things in line for my elos tank build, and try to automate stuff as much as possible, cuz im geeky that way ;) But i dont want to have to worry about putting a fridge under my tank.
