Dosing station not working after adding 6plug digital powerbar

I added a 6plug digital powerbar to my system today.

I plugged the powerbar into the S1-S4 port and the dosing pumps S5-S8 port. Obviously the dosing pump 1 and 2 wont work because S5 and S6 are taken up by the powerbar.

Would it be possible to plug the dosing station into the digital powerbar so that I can use S7-S10 for dosing?

If not, what are my options?

as per the manual 3.16.21

daisy chain the doser to the power bar AFTER you have plugged the doser into S1-S4 and programmed it to react to what channels you want it to

Ok I just tried that and only S5 and S6 are working on the powerbar.

I can get all plugs on the powerbar to work if I program S5-S10 to be active it but then the dosing pump turn on and stay on.

When I go to program the dosing pumps back to S1-S4 the powerbar goes back to only activating S5-S6.

They seem to be conflicting now. :p

Why you no read :p

"it needs programming" first

3.16.21

Unplug power bar from s1-s4 and plug in the doser, now program it to react to the next socket onwards from your last power bar socket, NOW plug the power bar bak into S1S4 and plug the doser into your "last" power bar western socket

Ok I am so confused it's rediculous. I did read the manual and it does not explain it very clearly IMO.

I plugged the doser into S1-S4 and programed it to respond to socket S7-S10. Then I pluged the powerbar into the S1-S4 on the controller and pluged the doser into the powerbar.

Now nothing is working. lol

what are you plugging into the power bar?

I had a client recently plug the power line into the plug socket of the power bar and wandered why it did not work.

So just in case, the power for the doser goes to a wall socket (or a power bar socket set to always on) and the western control lead plugs into the second western socket of the power bar

Providing the power bar is programmed to 1-6 and plugged into S1-S4 and the doser is programmed as a doser and numbered S7 onwards.

IF you have more than one power bar then program the second power bar to S7 onwards and then program the doser from the last socket of the last power bar i.e socket 13

The things I have plugged into the powerbar are labeled here. I plug the power for the doser into the wall, not the digital bar.

Ok.. I think I got it this time.

I had the software setup exactly how you see it in the screenshots above. I then plugged the doser into S1-S4 on the controller and programed it for S7-S10. Then I pluged the powerbar into the S1-S4 on the controller and pluged the doser into the powerbar.

BINGO!

yes thats exactly what i said :(

Yeah I know. :D

Doing what I am told and understanding why I am doing it is two different things. I learned alot from this experience and there is no way I could have done it without you.

Thanks so much Mike!!!
