Dosing your tank

Hi guys, bout myself a 5 port doser. What should I dose for? Plus would it be a good idea for one of them to use as a coral feeder??

like he said... don't dose anything you can't test for, else you'll probably end up doing more harm than good.

You should test your water and find out if you need to dose anything or not.

+1

But more importantly...what kind of corals are you keeping?

I have an SPS dominant tank, dose B-Ionic Mag, Calc and Alk. But, before I dove into SPS I never dosed, lol.

start with just three things. I trust this thing TESTS before adding. If your alk drops below 7.9, bring it back. Ideal alkalinity on the DKH scale, 7.9 to 8.3. Never let it leave that bracket.

Keep your salinity at 1.024 to 1.026, never lower, never higher. Dose with fresh water to keep balance.

Keep your temperature at about 79, with as little variance as possible.
