i just got that light ihave the aquamedic 250 with the 20k ushio highest par of the 20ks
Im pretty sure the Ushio is the same bulb as the Aqualine 20,000K. I know Ushio/BLV makes some of the bulbs for Aqualine, not sure on the 20,000K, but they are pretty much identical in output.
The highest output 20,000K is actually the EVC, and by a wide margin. According to Sanjay's tests, the BLV 20,000K comes in at a 43, and the EVC at a 64. I love my EVC 20,000K... its a bit like the pheonix bulb (alot brighter), but with more actinic than the pheonix, which is sorta monochromatic/blue in the end.
leesanhua, what do you mean by 'too white'? Or better yet, what do you want it to look more like. 'Too white' says something different to me than 'more blue', but I can see how others may take it like that. Also, you didnt state what Aqualine bulb you are using.... they come in 5000K, 10,000K, 16,000K, and 20,000K after all. If you have a 20,000K and you say 'too white' then I think you mean too monochromatic... not enough full range of color, and so I would suggest a lower K bulb. If you have a 10,000K and you say 'too white' then I might think you mean 'too bright' or 'too yellow', or possibly 'too daylight' and you want more blue. OR, you might mean too white as in too blue, and you want more of a 6500K look.
What is it for you?!?!
