Does anyone have anything to say about the double sea star? (Iconaster longimanus)
Really cool star.

Never had any experience with them. Seems like your normal predatory sea star though. Not reef safe imo

They are not predatory as in Pentaster and Protoreaster species, but they are very delicate and require a very mature tank with lots of small live fauna to support it.

They are not a common star in the hobby and that should be taken into consideration. I would say they need a very large mature reef tank, pristine water conditions, long acclimation times. I would say long term success would not be high. I would personally avoid them.
