Hey everybody!
I've been going back and forth in my head trying to reach a decision whether to keep my current lighting or sell it and downgrade to something not as strong and bright. I believe I have decided to sell it because I don't need lighting so bright. So I am selling the lighting system from my 75 gallon tank which includes 3 separate parts.
THIS INCLUDES:
1.2 X PFO Mini Metal Halide Pendants
Dimensions (W x H x L): 7.5" x 4.5" x 12"
I bought them about two years ago and have kept the pendants in great condition. They come with glass UV shielding for the DE bulbs which has also protected the reflection material from any marks or scuffs very well. PFO Lighting has discontinued these pendants and they maybe out of business entirely, but I can assure you these pendants are made and work very well from my experience and have no defects. No rust.
Here's what they currently look like above my tank:
Dr. Sanjay Joshi has done experiments testing and comparing this particular PFO 250W reflector with others of similar design and has written this article sharing his findings:

The reflectors also come with the Pendant Hanging Kits, which are basically just screws with a thin metal cable running through them which can be adjusted to raise and lower the pendants by pulling on the wire cables.
2. 1 ARO 250W Electronic Ballast &

The Vertex 250W ballast is brand new and only used for about 2 weeks and is covered under warranty for 3 years.

I have wired both ballasts to sit inside a plastic circuit breaker box. The custom quick disconnect three-pronged receptacles are mounted in one side of this box. I have also wired all necessary ground wires. The power cords exit the opposite side from the quick disconnects.
Because of the way I custom wired the ballasts, if you purchase only one of the ballasts or both without the box, both the power cord input and lamp output cords are cut leaving just bare wires that need to be spliced to the appropriate plugs or receptacles in order to be wired properly and work.
3. 1 Aqualine Buske 250W 20K HQI DE Metal Halide Bulb,
1 Phoenix 250W 14K HQI DE Metal Halide Bulb &
1 Helios 250W 20K HQI DE Metal Halide Bulb
The Aqualine Buske 20K Halide Bulb is brand new. It was purchased the same time as the Vertex ballast about 2 weeks ago. The Phoenix and Helios bulbs are older bulbs. The Phoenix is about 8 months old but still looks decent and the Helios is even older. I wouldn't use them for anything really important, but they could still be used for something.
So, I'm posting this here in the local Pittsburgh Forum because I prefer dealing with someone I can see and talk to face-to-face. Plus I would probably offer a better deal to someone local.
For the PFO Mini 250W Pendants they are still selling for $109.95 each. I'll sell them for $60 each and include one of the older Phoenix 14K or Helios 20K DE bulbs for free. All shipping is on me, if required!
The ballasts are relatively new(the Vertex is new), so I'll sell the Vertex for $75 and the ARO for $50. And again all shipping, if required, is on me.
Finally, the Aqualine Buske 20K 250W DE HQI MH Bulb I bought for $119.95 two weeks ago, so I guess I can sell it for $90 with any shipping on me.
I am getting more stuff from the 75 gallon ready to sell. Here's a list of some of the things I may be selling shortly:
