Downgrading... need great deal on 24g nano and stand

OC CJ

Crushed coral > sand
Hey guys, after about 7 months of enjoyment with our 40 gallon, we are forced to downsize to a nano. Since our energy bill has tripled due to the addition of the tank, we fear it will go even higher moving back to LA county, especially long beach. We're in "money conservation" mode right now.

Anyway, where can i find a great deal on a 24 gallon nano and a stand?

After i get everything switched over i'll have some stuff to sell next week.

Well, i just saw Ocean Pro has the lastest version for $219. That's a great price!! I'm just not sure if i can get down there this weekend.

Any other shops close to cypress have a good deal?

Well, that sounds better. Same price as ocean pro and closer to me.

Unless there's a better deal out there, looks like i'll be heading over there shortly.

Thanks for the info.

I have a 24G nano cube I am thinking of getting rid of for $100. in Irvine. The hinges have been cut off.

Fish Collection in Placentia sells the 24 for $199............I'm sure the stand isn't more then $60-$100.............Give Jimmy a call & I'm sure he'll make you a great deal..

Steve :D

Like Jerry said, i do have 500 watts of MH, plus a chiller, a return pump, a seio 620 and a rio 600 for the skimmer. The lights and chiller are what's killing us. Our bill went from $23 to almost $70 a month. Plus moving back to long beach will shoot that bill close to $100. I could always get rid of the MH and get some pc's and lose the chiller, but that would still be roughly double the consumption that the nano would generate. We're trying to pay off some bills and this isn't helping.

Laverda, is it the old version or the new one? Got any pics?

Thanks,

I think it is the old version, but I dont know to be honest. It has two fans, but no moon lights.
