Downsizing - Stuff For Sale

So, my last power bill came in and I've got to downsize before I even get the whole thing going. My dreams of an 800 gallon system are gone. I'm settling for a meager 400 gallons. So..I'm gonna start selling some stuff off. Here's what I got so far...

1) 110 Gallon Tank (48x18x30ish) Oak finish - New top frame and inner seal. It has some little scratches here and there. Drilled with two one inch bulkheads through the side (I know the side...bummer, but a custom stand could cover the plumbing, or maybe you could set it up as a peninsula) Back painted black - $100

2) 230 Gallon Tank (72x20x36) This is a really cool dimension tank, the height makes it look HUGE. Acrylic - It needs a serious buffing, I got it used and started this process. Crack in the eurobrace, doesn't seem to be structurally critical, but can easily repaired with Weld-On. - $200

3) 3-2x96 watt power compact ballasts and harnesses - $30 each/$75 for all

4) 175 watt Metal Halide Ballast (It's actually a 3 x 175 but I think only one works) I'm pretty sure I have a mogul socket laying around too, and three or four bulbs. - $30

5) 400 watt metal halide ballast, not sure what brand, again, I think I might have a mogul socket laying around, probably a lightly used bulb too - $50

6) Some live rock (70 lbs. or so) - it's all been baked and cured. There's not a lot of color, but it all has great shape and is 100% aptasia and majano free. - $2 lb.

7) Still have a 72x24 pine stand - black - FREE (Could be easily modified for the 230)

I know I'll have more junk as I break more down.

Is the 230 gal tank 20" or 36" high? What is the thickness of the acrylic sides as well as eurobrace? Do you know who built the tank? Are the scratches significant enough that you can feel them with your fingernail?

Sorry for the number of questions but I may be interested.

The tank is 20 inches wide, and 36" tall. A few of the scratches will need to be sanded, most of them are just angel hairs that need to be buffed. The acrylic is 1/2 inch..I think...I filled it with water, and there was some slight bowing. In truth, if I were setting this tank up I would probably build the stand with a center brace (divide the viewing area into two squares. It does hold water as is, with no bracing, but I'm the paranoid type.

230 is gone, as well as the stand.

New lower prices:

110 gallon drilled with two 1" bulkheads on the side - $75
3 - 2x96 watt power compact ballasts and harnesses - $20 each
175 watt metal halide ballast - $20
400 watt metal halide ballast - $30

175W MH ballast

175W MH ballast

I will take the 175w MH ballast but may not get to roanoke for a little while, so do not hold it by any means but next time I head that way I will check to see if you still have it
